We are hiring! Director of Program, Program Officer (Gender), and Program Associate (Climate)

Join CESR in advancing economic justice and human rights! We are seeking a Director of Program, Program Officer (Gender Justice), and Program Associate (Climate Justice). These roles offer the opportunity to lead global change for an economic system that prioritizes people and the planet. The application deadline for all positions is November 1, 2024, though early applications are strongly encouraged (interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until positions are filled).

We are excited to announce three critical job openings: Director of Program, Program Officer (Gender Justice), and Program Associate (Climate Justice). These positions provide an opportunity to join CESR’s mission to transform the global economic system and advance human rights. All roles are remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Global South.

1. Director of Program

CESR is looking for an experienced, visionary leader to serve as our Director of Program. This is a key role to drive CESR’s programmatic strategy, managing research, advocacy, and movement-building initiatives. Ideal for someone with expertise in economic justice and human rights, especially from the Global South, the Director will oversee our team’s work to catalyze collective action.

2. Program Officer (Gender Justice)

CESR seeks a part-time Program Officer (Gender Justice) to help challenge the economic structures driving gender-based inequalities. In this part-time, remote role, you will conduct feminist research, develop advocacy strategies, and build partnerships with gender justice movements, especially in the Global South.

3. Program Associate (Climate Justice)

We’re also seeking a Program Associate (Climate Justice) to lead CESR’s work linking climate justice and human rights. This part-time, remote role involves developing advocacy strategies and partnerships to address the human rights impacts of climate change, focusing on reparative justice and systemic transformation.
