This submission to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR) by 36 civil society organizations on the occasion of Spain’s review at the 63rd session in March 2018 presents data covering the period from 2012 to 2017. The submission focuses on analyzing austerity measures and their impacts on the right to an adequate standard of living, the right to health, sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) and the right to work. It does not intend to provide an exhaustive analysis of the policies related to ESCR in Spain, but rather to offer information supported by solid evidence, on topics of concern to the signatory organizations and included in the List of Issues by the Committee.
