Over the weekend, four residents from Belfast, Northern Ireland, traveled to Geneva, Switzerland. They hope to influence the review of the United Kingdom by the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR).

Angie McManus, Bertie Atkinson, Gerard McCartan and Margaret Valente, are part of the Participation and the Practice of Rights Project. It's an NGO that works to empower residents to advocate for their economic and social rights in north Belfast in Northern Ireland.

They are shooting video and live-blogging about their experience while they are there.

Meanwhile CESR's Shira Stanton is also at the CESCR, attending Cambodia's appearance before the committee this morning. Look out for her posts on our blog.
